Talent search program leads to all-round development of children through their talent: Karm Singh

Talent search competition held in college

 The cultural cell organized a talent search competition at Guru Brahmanand Kanya Mahavidyalaya, in which the girl students made a splash with Haryanvi, Punjabi and Rajasthani dance and song. Former Sarpanch of Jamba Chaudhary Karam Singh attended the program as the chief guest. Head of Kanya Gurukul Shiksha Samiti Chaudhary Rishipal and other officials of the management committee and Principal Dr. Gyani Devi welcomed the chief guest. Everyone started the program by lighting a lamp in front of the statue of Mother Saraswati.

In the programme, colourful competitions like solo dance, group dance, singing, musical instruments, mono acting, mime, short drama, mimicry etc. were organised along with competitions like poetry recitation, speech, quiz, painting etc. A fashion show was also presented by the fashion designing department in the dresses prepared by the students. The entire programme was organised and conducted by the in-charge of cultural cell, Dr Pinky Kadian.

The guest appreciated the talent of the students. Muskan, Anjali and Mehakdeep in dance, Muskan, Aditi and Aarti in singing, Payal, Aarti and Ankur in musical instruments, Palak, Aarti and Manpreet in mono acting, Anjali, Palak and Aarti in mimicry, Jyoti, Nandani and Sanjana in speech, Muskan, Palak and Aarti in poetry and Neeraj, Tanu and Ranjana in painting got first, second and third place respectively.
