Under the auspices of NSS, a tree plantation program was organized under the auspices of NSS under the chairmanship of Principal Dr. Giani Devi at Guru Brahmanand Kanya Mahavidyalaya, Anjanthali, under the Van Mahotsav week. In which many shady and fruit bearing trees like mango, neem, banyan etc. were planted.

 

In the program, Principal Dr. Giani Devi and Head of Girls Gurukul Education Committee Chaudhary Rishipal, Vice President Chaudhary Rameshchandra and General Secretary Chaudhary Mahavir Kaul also planted saplings and explained its importance to the girl students. The students planted saplings with great enthusiasm and also took an oath to take care of those plants. On this occasion, Chaudhary Rishipal, head of Kanya Gurukul Shiksha Samiti, said that today

 

In this time, more and more trees should be planted to protect the environment. One tree is like a hundred sons. It grows and provides oxygen along with shade. Principal Dr. Giani Devi said that we should not be limited to just planting trees, but should nurture them like our own children. NSS in-charge Dr. Usharani, while coordinating and conducting the program, thanked him for cooperating in this initiative. Wished for similar cooperation in future also.
