An extension lecture was organized by the Youth Red Cross Cell on the occasion of Blood Donation Day at Guru Brahmanand Kanya Mahavidyalaya Anjanthali. Participating as the keynote speaker, Red Cross Society member Shweta Dhiman told the students and teachers present about the requirements and importance of blood donation. She said that blood is needed in medical conditions like thalassemia and accidental deaths. She told that all healthy women and men from 18 to 65 years can donate blood and in this way many people's lives can be saved.

She also resolved the doubts of the students and teachers by answering their questions on this subject. On this occasion, Principal Dr. Giani Devi said that the significance of human life lies in the fact that we can save the lives of other people when needed. By donating blood we can contribute to the service of humanity. The entire program was organized and conducted by Youth Red Cross in-charge Professor Dalveer Kaur. The entire college family was present on this occasion.
